About Us

Established in 1965 as Lloyd, Steyn & Co, the firm evolved over the years and, after a brief period with Wiehahn Meyer Nel, changed its name to Lloyd Viljoen.


Lloyd Viljoen is committed to delivering value-added services to all our clients by leveraging the expertise of our accounting, audit, tax, and business specialists. 


By devoting our time and efforts towards offering valuable and cost-effective services, such as statutory requirements, and business advice to individuals and businesses, Lloyd Viljoen has become a leader in the field of auditing, accounting and related services.


Over the years, the firm expanded its reach to include four offices that operate independently of one another to serve our clients better. Our offices are based in Randburg, Pretoria and Rustenburg.

LLOYD VILJOEN - RANDBURG NORTH


Lloyd Viljoen North offers a one-stop shop for individuals and small to medium-sized enterprises, catering to all their accounting, compliance, and tax needs.


The firm is located in the Randburg CBD, centrally positioned to serve our clients across various industries and locations.


Currently, the firm has two partners who qualified as CAs (SA) after completing their learnerships at Lloyd Viljoen and are members of The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). 


They are also Registered Auditors with the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA) to perform the attest function, registered tax practitioners with the South African Revenue Service (SARS), and members of the South African Institute of Tax Practitioners (SAIT).



LLOYD VILJOEN - RANDBURG SOUTH

Situated in the centre of South Africa’s business hub, our Randburg South offices are based in the Randpark Building, Dover Street. This office is held by three partners, one of whom is based at the Lloyd Viljoen Rustenburg office.


Our partners are registered members of the South African Institute of Tax Practitioners (SAIT), the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), and the Independent Regulatory Body of Auditors (IRBA). They are registered tax practitioners with the South African Revenue Service (SARS).


Both partners managing the Randburg South office hold CA qualifications, and the rest of the staff comprises a dedicated tax administrator, a dedicated statutory secretary, and a team of trained accountants.

LLOYD VILJOEN - PRETORIA


We are a small firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors that provide professional services to small owner-managed businesses, SME’s, private individuals and government institutions. 


Our main business is the provision of audit, accounting, company secretarial, tax administration, and tax advice services. 


The firm has two partners supported by a professional team. We are a training office for SAICA and SAIPA learners.



LLOYD VILJOEN - RUSTENBURG


The Lloyd Viljoen Rustenburg office was established in 2009 to meet ongoing demand from individuals and businesses for reliable accounting, audit, tax, and business specialists.


This office is held by three partners, two of whom are based at the Lloyd Viljoen Randburg South office. 


Our partners are registered members of the South African Institute of Tax Practitioners (SAIT), the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), and the Independent Regulatory Body of Auditors (IRBA). They are registered tax practitioners with the South African Revenue Service (SARS).

Working with me (or any of my colleagues) as a firm representative, you can expect the following:

  • I return a stakeholder’s call/email/SMS within 24 hours.

  • I trust my stakeholders. I do not excessively and unreasonably monitor their responsibilities.

  • I address a conflict situation with the party concerned in a professional manner that is equal to those above before approaching a third party.

 

Accountability Statement

I am accountable for all my actions. I will take corrective measures before the deadline if I cannot deliver on my commitment to the Workplace Behaviour Statement.

I will communicate this to the relevant stakeholders within a timeframe that is acceptable to them.
