The company, formed in 1996, is a medium-sized Level Four B-BBEE-compliant audit firm with offices nationwide. We offer a range of specialised services for individuals, small and medium-sized enterprises, and the government sector.
Our highly experienced team can provide accounting, tax, audit, and other assurance services, as well as statutory secretarial services.

Johan Cronjé
Johan Cronjé CA(SA)/ B-BBEE RA

Johan Cronjé CA(SA), Registered Auditor and B-BBEE RA, is one of the founder members of the firm.
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992 after studying at the University of Johannesburg and completing his articles at the international audit firm, PWC.
Thereafter he gained extensive experience in commerce as a Financial Manager at the listed financial services company, Liberty Life of South Africa Ltd. In 1996 he formed ARC Chartered Accountants & Auditors Inc. with Tony Appelgryn and Theo Rautenbach.
Today he manages the Fourways and Mbombela branches of ARC Inc., which focus mainly on servicing the private and public sector clients.
In addition, he devotes his time and efforts in the project management field.

Tony Appelgryn

Tony Appelgryn qualified as a Chartered Accountant (SA) in 1993 and is one of the founding partners of ARC Inc in 1996.
Tony completed his studies at University of Johannesburg (RAU) and his articles with international audit firm PWC.
He served on various committees of The Afrikaanse Sakekamer and also as chairman.
In this capacity and as auditor in public practice and consultant, Tony gained extensive experience in the business sector especially in mining and retail, both in the auditing and business managerial fields.
He also serves as an independent director and as chairman of audit committees of listed companies on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.

Theo Rautenbach
Theo Rautenbach CA(SA)

Theo Rautenbach, (CA)SA is one of the founder members of ARC Inc.
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant during 1992, a year after completing his learnership with then international audit firm Coopers & Lybrand.
Apart from consulting for a number of large corporations such as MTN, Spoornet, and Porsche South Africa under the ARC Inc. banner, he gained extensive experience as a Chartered Accountant and businessperson locally as well as across the borders of Africa.
These days he utilises his expertise and knowledge to serve and advise clients at the Business Support division of the ARC Group.
